Description

Delicious and crispy egg rolls filled with seasoned ground beef, cheese, and veggies, perfect for parties and snacks.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 10 to 12 egg roll wrappers
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned and no longer pink. Drain excess grease.
  2. Season beef with Cajun seasoning and garlic powder. Let cool slightly.
  3. Mix the seasoned beef with cheddar cheese, green onions, and carrots in a large bowl.
  4. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface in a diamond shape.
  5. Add 2-3 tablespoons of filling near the center.
  6. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides. Roll tightly.
  7. Seal the edge with a dab of water.
  8. Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  9. Fry egg rolls in batches, turning occasionally, until golden brown (3-4 minutes).
  10. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with dipping sauce.

Notes

Serve with sweet chili sauce or soy sauce for dipping. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 2 months.
