Description
A refreshing blueberry lemonade drink that’s perfect for hot days and gatherings.
Ingredients

- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- ½ cup sugar (or honey/agave)
- ½ cup water
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
- ½ cup fresh lemon juice (about 3 lemons)
- 4 cups cold Sprite
- Ice cubes (as needed)
- Garnish: lemon slices, fresh blueberries, mint
Instructions
- Combine blueberries, sugar, water, and lemon zest in a saucepan.
- Simmer over medium heat for 7–10 minutes until berries burst.
- Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve, discarding solids.
- Cool the syrup completely.
- Juice the lemons and add the juice to a pitcher.
- Stir in the cooled blueberry syrup.
- Chill the mixture for 30 minutes.
- Just before serving, pour in Sprite and gently stir.
- Add ice cubes and garnish with lemon slices, mint, or frozen blueberries.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
Serve at summer barbecues or picnics. Best consumed within 2 days.
