Description

A quick and flavorful Spicy Garlic Butter Sauce that complements crispy roast potatoes, seafood, and pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp spicy chili garlic sauce
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Melt butter over medium-low heat until it’s fully liquid and slightly glossy.
  2. Add minced garlic and stir immediately; cook until fragrant and pale flecks form (about 30–45 seconds).
  3. Stir in spicy chili garlic sauce, smoked paprika, and optional cayenne.
  4. Add lemon juice and honey; stir until the sauce is balanced.
  5. Taste and season with salt and black pepper. Finish with chopped parsley, then remove from heat.
  6. Use immediately over crispy items or with pasta.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, whisk in cold water or a tiny pat of cold butter at the end. Store-bought chili garlic sauces vary, so adjust the heat to your taste.
