Description

These Thai Basil Beef Rolls feature a velvety beef filling wrapped in shatteringly crisp rice paper, perfect for shareable bites.


Ingredients

  • 500 g Lean Ground Beef
  • 3 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
  • 1 cup Shredded Carrots
  • 1 cup Chopped Bell Peppers
  • 1 cup Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 10 sheets Rice Paper Wrappers

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high and add the ground beef, spreading it thin to brown quickly.
  2. Stir in soy and hoisin, then add carrots and peppers until softened.
  3. Remove from heat and fold in torn basil leaves.
  4. Soak one rice paper in warm water until flexible, then lay flat.
  5. Spoon a strip of beef mixture across the center, tuck ends, and roll tightly.
  6. Heat oil in a nonstick pan over medium-high and add rolls seam-side down.
  7. Cook until edges are crisp and golden, about 2–3 minutes per side. Serve hot.

Notes

For extra gooey pockets, add an extra teaspoon of hoisin before assembly.
