Description
A fragrant and versatile lavender honey syrup perfect for enhancing drinks and desserts.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 3 tbsp dried culinary lavender
- Optional: 2-3 frozen blueberries
Instructions
- Combine water, honey, and sugar in a saucepan.
- Bring to just a boil over medium heat.
- Stir continuously until the sugar dissolves.
- Remove the pot from the burner.
- Add 3 tbsp of dried culinary lavender buds.
- Optionally, add 2-3 frozen blueberries for color.
- Cover with a lid and let steep for 15-20 minutes.
- Strain out the lavender buds.
- Store in a glass jar with a lid.
- Keep it in the fridge for up to 2-3 weeks.
Notes
Serve chilled or at room temperature. If syrup is too thick, add more water.
