Description

A fragrant and versatile lavender honey syrup perfect for enhancing drinks and desserts.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 3 tbsp dried culinary lavender
  • Optional: 2-3 frozen blueberries

Instructions

  1. Combine water, honey, and sugar in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to just a boil over medium heat.
  3. Stir continuously until the sugar dissolves.
  4. Remove the pot from the burner.
  5. Add 3 tbsp of dried culinary lavender buds.
  6. Optionally, add 2-3 frozen blueberries for color.
  7. Cover with a lid and let steep for 15-20 minutes.
  8. Strain out the lavender buds.
  9. Store in a glass jar with a lid.
  10. Keep it in the fridge for up to 2-3 weeks.

Notes

Serve chilled or at room temperature. If syrup is too thick, add more water.
