Description

A floral twist on your favorite beverages, perfect for summer drinks and desserts.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Organic Food Grade Dried Lavender Flowers
  • 57 Blueberries (for natural coloring)

Instructions

  1. Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan.
  2. Stir the mixture over medium to low heat.
  3. Mix until the sugar dissolves completely.
  4. Do not allow the mixture to boil.
  5. Add dried lavender and blueberries to the saucepan.
  6. Simmer the mixture for 5 minutes.
  7. Turn off the heat and allow steeping for 20 minutes.
  8. Stir occasionally to enhance flavor.
  9. Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
  10. Transfer the cooled syrup to a clean airtight container.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. Serve cold or at room temperature.
