- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- Heart-shaped cookie cutter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan and line with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow brownies to cool completely in the pan.
- Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out heart-shaped brownies.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
For serving, you can dust the brownies with powdered sugar or add whipped cream. To store, keep in an airtight container or freeze for longer storage.
