Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup cinnamon
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before drizzling with powdered sugar glaze made by mixing powdered sugar with a little water or milk to achieve desired consistency.
- Slice into bars and serve.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature. Store in an airtight container. Add nuts or chocolate for variations.
