Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak tips
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear steak for 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add heavy cream and stir until combined.
  6. Mix in cream cheese and Parmesan until smooth.
  7. Toss cooked penne into the sauce, add steak tips, and warm through for 1-2 minutes.
  8. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Pat the steak dry for a better sear, and use freshly grated Parmesan for optimal melt and flavor.
