- 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak tips
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt & black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- Season steak with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear steak for 3-4 minutes per side.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream and stir until combined.
- Mix in cream cheese and Parmesan until smooth.
- Toss cooked penne into the sauce, add steak tips, and warm through for 1-2 minutes.
- Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Pat the steak dry for a better sear, and use freshly grated Parmesan for optimal melt and flavor.
