Description
A refreshing and fruity summer drink featuring layered blueberry puree and lemon lemonade topped with sparkling water.
Ingredients

- 1 cup fresh or thawed blueberries
- 1 tablespoon sugar or honey (for blueberry layer)
- 2 tablespoons water (for blueberry layer)
- 2–3 large lemons (to yield about 1/2 cup lemon juice)
- 1/4 cup sugar or honey (for lemonade)
- 2 cups cold water (for lemonade)
- Ice cubes
- 1 cup sparkling water (about 1/2 cup per glass)
- Optional: Mint leaves, extra blueberries, lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
- Blend 1 cup blueberries with 1 tablespoon sugar (or honey) and 2 tablespoons water until smooth.
- Strain if you want a silky texture.
- Juice 2-3 lemons to get about 1/2 cup lemon juice.
- In a pitcher, combine lemon juice with 1/4 cup sugar (or honey) and stir until dissolved.
- Add 2 cups cold water and adjust sweetness to taste.
- Fill each glass halfway with ice cubes.
- Spoon 2-3 tablespoons of blueberry puree into the bottom of each glass.
- Slowly pour lemonade over the back of a spoon into each glass to create layers.
- Top each glass with about 1/2 cup sparkling water, pouring gently.
- Add extra blueberries, a lemon slice, or a sprig of mint for garnish.
- Swirl gently before sipping or serve as-is for a layered effect.
Notes
Serve chilled and do not reheat. Keep leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
